The case
Forty and a half millimetres of steel.
The case is 316L stainless steel: 40.5 mm across, 12 mm thick and 48 mm from lug to lug, with 20 mm between the lugs. The flanks are polished and the outer edges of the lugs bevelled.
A screw-down crown sits between guards, and the solid case back is engraved around its edge. MONTA designs and tests it to 300 metres. The flat sapphire crystal has a bevelled edge and seven anti-reflective layers on its underside. The ceramic bezel insert counts sixty minutes in 120 clicks, with a lumed pip at twelve.
The movement
Caliber M-22.
Automatic, with a rotor that winds in both directions. MONTA describes the M-22 as Sellita's SW300 built to its own specification, and states that it is manufactured, assembled and tested in Switzerland.
Sellita's figures for the SW300-1: 3.60 mm thick, 25 jewels, 28,800 vibrations an hour (4 Hz), and a typical power reserve of 56 hours, the same reserve MONTA quotes. Sellita documents a lift angle of 51°, the figure a timegrapher needs to read amplitude correctly.
MONTA has written that it regulates every watch to within seven seconds a day, fast or slow, averaged over five positions.
The dial
Black lacquer, red lettering.
A black lacquered dial with applied hour markers inside a minute track, the date at six, and the model name in red. The hands are rhodium-plated swords, diamond-cut.
The markers are lumed, and MONTA names Super-LumiNova BGW9 for the hands and the bezel. The bracelet's clasp adjusts on the wrist through six positions, and two half-links come with it.
